Gut, nun kommt noch was.


T-64 A und T-64 AV sind eigentlich nur desswegen entstanden, um die BI-Modelle mit Texturen für meine Replacement Config zu ersetzen.


Nun ist das Projekt doch etwas größer geworden.

Eigentlich wollte ich selbst einen T-80 bauen, nachdem die VK T-80BV meine CPU fast gegrillt hatten. Die Modelle sind allesamt zu detailiert für meinen Laptop...


Habe dann aber den T-80BV von vilas for A2OA gefunden und als so gut befunden um diesen nach OFP zu konvertieren.


Das Ergebnis gefällt mir so gut, dass ich vilas nach einer Release-Permission gefragt und mich durch die APL-Lizenzen gegraben habe.

Ich habe mal den M48 überarbeitet:
  • Dämpfer überarbeitet / Details zugefügt
  • Motorbereich überarbeitet (war eher ein M60 Motor...)
  • "Schnabelform" der Front überarbeitet (war auch halb M60...)
  • Neuer Shader für die Tarnung bis 1984
  • Neue 3-Farb Tarnung

Icon10 Radpanzer Beispiel A1 Stryker

Ich habe mich mal des Strykers aus den A1-Samples angenommen.


Überraschenderweise verträgt die OFP/CWA-Engine die hochauflösenden Modelle gut. Ich konnte auf meiner Kiste weder eine auffällige GPU-Load noch andere Effekte vorfinden.


Nur ist leider die OFP-Engine nur auf den MG-Jeep ausgerichtet, daher fehlen einige Dinge, die in den Kettenfahrzeugen drin sind:
  • Keine Memory-Points für Gunner / Driver / Comander View
  • Nur ein Cargo-Lod wird unterstützt... für einen Gunner könnte man aber einen Cargo-Lod brauchen, der mit der Gun wandert, um den fehlenden Support für Memory-Points auszugleichen
  • Keine separaten Hitzones, nur linke und rechte Windschutzscheibe
Na ja, ich habe da mal die Animationen für Driver / Gunner / Commander angeguckt, und die können die Größe der Spielerfigur ändern (leider bleibt die Camerapos für den Blickwinkel immer noch 15cm vom Proxy weg).
Daher kann man einen "Minipanzer" in den Cargoview auf die Posi der Gun setzen und so einen Gunner Cargo im allgemeinen Cargoview setzen.




Könnte man auch für Driver / Commander machen und so separate Cargoviews simulieren.


Resultat sieht so aus:


Ich habe den Link zum Addon in den BI-Foren gepostet, so kann jeder mit dem Stryker rumdüsen.

Issues:
- Gunner not visible in cargo due to gnomization
- Gunner's turn-in is to turnin on scope sight, while turn-out is cargo view
- Basic damage texture
- Drivers keep their command on seat-change (!)
- As gunner cannot be commanded by commander position, I ommitted the commander position in config. You may reactivate this on your own config, if you like.
- Rebounce script required to apply velocity in order to activate the dampers
- Implementation is ready for registered kills, but I deactivated this on issues in urban terrain (killing bullet likely blocked by obstacles on fast moving targets).

MPMissions (copy this to MPMissions folder and activate it via local Multiplayer game)
- CRCTI kolgujev based on crcti_1.0_@bis_res0.7.2 including strykers for west side

I noticed some wheeled armor releases lately, that tried to cope with the single cargo LOD effect.
"Car" simulation seems to enable a single cargo LOD only, preventing any cargo LOD separation for driver / gunner / driver.
This model is an example to "simulate" a separate cargo LOD by reduction of model size and RTM animation.
The gunner's cargo view is based on a 1:5 model that includes a gunner RTM-animation that causes a 1:100 size reduction of gunner proxy.
This model in included in otochlaven and otocvez to enable direct gunsight including a cargo model.
I hope some addon creators might find this example usefull, so the MLOD is included in the PBO.
