Maybe look at your "view distance" if you run this game with 10km view distance you need a kick ass PC. try 1200-3000m. and check your "advanced" settings in arma. I have 2 systems here and on my old system (AMD 2800+, Radeon 9800 pro with 256MB, 2 Gig of ram) I can still run this on "ok" settings with view distance up to 2500m no problem. Maybe you also need to update your graphic card drivers...
