Hab eine Probleme [ENG/US]
 

Right, I know this is a GERMAN forum, but right now it's the only ARMA forum that does not require some goddamn annoying Registration form that takes 30 hours to be replied to.

Version: 1.08
Quality: Normal, 200 fps

I've got a problem with the game.
You see, whenever I try to shoot or aim at anything it's as if there's a mongoloid aiming with the gun 'cause the gun just fires in a random direction.

Scenario:
Enemy at 50 meters
Weapon m16 SOPMOD
Aiming down EOtech <Iron Sight>
Aiming for the head
Firing
Missed, bullet impacts 15 meters to the right.

Even my fricking grandma can hit that, heck even I can hit the bullseye with an m4 full auto at a 50 m range.

Scenario 2:
Enemy at 50 meters
Weapon m16 SOPMOD
Aiming from the hip <Regular, sway-type aiming>
Aiming for the head
Instant kill.


What the fuck is up with that?
I can't use ironsight but a shitty way of aiming that only works in RAMBO movies ends up in an instant headshot?

Anyone got an answer to this or is it just that ARMA is completely retarded.

It would be less retarded if you'd use the original EXE and not a cracked one....it's obvious that you are using one, because the symptoms you're describing are the result of the copy protection of the game.

I don't know if you bought the game or got yourself an illegal copy from somewhere, but I promise this thread is getting locked instantly as soon as one of the mods spots it.

Solution to your problem:

Buy a LEGAL copy

or if you have one (what you can't prove) try to reinstall the game and/or remove any virtualization tool like daemon tools, however it has no effect on my game for example.

I'll try to remove the Daemon tools, and yes I do have a crack but that's mostly, and I know you probably all heard this one before, because I don't have the ability to use the CD the most of the time <I.E. I work on a laptop and I tend to forget to take discs with me, besides, playing a game or any traces of games could get me kicked outta here for sure.>

I'll keep in mind to take the disc with me at all times :p
