Englisch Referat

Sorry das ich hier rein poste aber ihr seit meine Letze Rettung und zwar fällt mir nix ein was ich in mein referat zum thema Americanischer Bürgerkreig schreiben soll.
Könnt ihr mir ein paar vorschläge geben was ich da rein packen soll?

Mach dich doch einfach mal ein bisschen über den Bürgekrieg schlau und übersetz das wichtigste dann ins Englische.

Zu aller ersteinmal sollte dieser Thread im "Ich brauche Hilfe"-Forum stehen... ;)

Zum Amerikanischen Bürgerkrieg kann man viel sagen... doch am besten fängt man erstmal mit den Ursachen an...

Kontrahenten sind:

-die Sklaverei betreibenden Südstaaten mit ihren riesen Plantagen und Baumwollfeldern
-der industrialisierte Norden mit einer deutlichen Aversion gegenüber der Sklavenhaltung

Abraham Lincoln, Führer der Nordstaaten, stellt in einer Rede klar, dass die Sklaverei in allen Ländern der USA abgeschafft werden soll

Südstaaten richten sich dagegen auf, der Bürgerkrieg beginnt

der Süden ist dem Norden technisch unterlegen, und verliert den Bürgerkrieg... Mistgabeln und bloße Fäuste können gegen teils automatisierte Schussapperaturen eben doch nicht viel ausrichten...

Krieg wird beendet, Sklaverei wird gesetzlich verboten...

Das zu einem relativ groben Umschnitt... aber ich denke, das meiste weißt du eh...

Ich könnte bloß mit Historie zum Liedgut dieser Zeit dienen. Darfst du auch was vorsingen?

Z.B. über die deutschstämmigen Soldaten der Unionsarmee hätte ich nen Lied...

In the Civil war fought the Union that was the North against the Konföderation that was the south. The war was from 1861 to 1865.



The reasons for the Civil War was the view (Auffassung) about the slavery. The south need the slaves for their economics (Wirtschaft). 

The north however was against the slavery. 

In addition had the South the feeling that they was disadvantaged (benachteiligt), because the North made protectiveduty (Schutzzölle) of Importgoods.

And so on.



The Outbreak of the War

The first strike made the Konföderation under Robert Edward Lee. They attak a union houber in Charlestown. The war was beginning.



The process of war

In the beginning of the war the Union lose battle for battle, the ground was that the Southern troops are better trained and have a better moral as the North troops. But the North had a better economics(Wirtschaft) and more recruit (Rekruten) as the South. So that the North win the Battle by Gettysburg. After this battle the Union troops win all battle, so that they came to Petersburg and Richmond. At the 3th April 1865 are resulted Lee. And at the 13th April the last Troops.



The presidents

Jefferson Davis:

Jefferson Davis was the president of the South States.

He was born in Fairview, Kentucky at the 3th june 1808.

He studie in West Point a military akademy.  At th 9th feburuary 1861 was he voted to president of the south states.

After the war he was accused (angeklagt) of betrayal. (verrat)

But his court hearing (gerichtsverfahren) was stoppes in 1869.

At the 6th December 1889 he died in New Orleans, Lousiana.

Abraham Lincoln:

Abraham Lincoln was the President of the North.

He was born in Nolin Creek in kentuky at the 12th Febuary 1809 in a 

Little block hut. (Block Hütte)

He become President at the 6th November 1860.

He was against the slavery.

After the war was he killed by Wilkes Booth in a theater.



The consequences of the war.

Over 600.000 people was killes in the war.

No slavery more.

Offical equal rights for Blacks.

Pass auf, das du immer in der Vergangenheit bleibst, du springst zwischen den Zeiten. Aussederm orientierst du dich viel zu sehr an der deutschen Grammatik

they, began und were...in genau der REihenfolge. Keyboard klemmt nach Kaffeeschwemme :naugthy:

Sonst hat Raprobo recht....Zeiten und Grammatik...evtl. auch etwas mehr Inhalt ( wichtige Schlachten, Wendepunkte, Gründe für den Sieg ), ist alles doch arg knappppp.

Am Besten du ziehst dir ein paar amerikanische Kassetten oder Filme rein, dann lernste viel mehr als ein Jahr Englischunterricht in der Schule :D . So lernt man Aussprache, Satzbau, Vokabular. Was am Besten ist, ist ein amerikanischer Film mit deutschem Untertitel. Am Besten auch einer den du schonmal in Deutsch gesehen hast.

Naja...die Janks mit ihrem Akzent sind doch ab und an etwas schwieriger zu verstehen. Ist genau so, als ob man jemanden einen deutschen Film gibt, in dem aber alle mit einem tief bayrischen Akzent sprechen....für Lernzwecke doch eher ungeeignet. :D

Ich rate da eher zu Zeichentrick oder Kinderserien, die sind bewusst etwas einfacher gehalten. Untertitel verlangsamen den Lernprozess, weil viele sich erfahrungsgemäss mehr auf die Untertietel als auf die Sprache konzentrieren. Bei Kinderserien kann man die Bedeutung fehlende Wörter notfalls noch erraten.

Dexter's Lab, Postman Pat, Thunderbirds...usw. sind IMO ganz gut um etwas Engl. zu lernen. Sehe eher wenig Sinn darin sich Filme wie z.B. Terminator o.ä. anzusehen....da ist der Wortschatz und der Lerneffekt doch ungleich geringer.
