16 AIR ASSAULT BRIGADE(Squad Tags -16AAB-) ACTIVELY RECRUITING FOR ArmA


Please do not mix us up with the 16AA Squad, who are completely different to us.






We are a professional squad for Adults ( 18 years and over ) UK & European players ( Or US/Canadian if your ok with our times )

We are now actively recruiting for ARMED ASSAULT.

We Are a tactical based squad who, believe in Squad training, no matter how good or bad the player. The belief being that all should function from the same rule book if we are to be effective as a squad.

Our training is based upon UK Forces training adapted to suit the limitations of a particular game.

Our training will be revised to Suit AA as soon as we get hands-on time with it.

Established in 2001 playing Blackhawk down we have expanded and grown and refined our training and adapted it to suit games such as Joint operation ( reality mod ) & Operation Flashpoint.

We the 16 Air Assault Brigade wish to recruit dedicated and determined personnel who wish to follow orders under a British Army command Structure wether you be a serving soldier or an ex-serving soldier or even are just the general public.

All personnel will take part in our rigorous and professional training which entails a 3 month cadetship.

The 3 month cadetship will entail the following training:-
1. Cadet Training
2. Communication skills
3. Medic skills
4. Fireteams
5. Corps Cadre

This is an achievable program within the 3 month period, however if this is not achieved within the timelimit then a further 3 month cadetship can/will be offered.

The -16AAB- do extensive training including using the JRRF(Joint Rapid Reaction Force) and the SFSG(Special Forces Support Group) which include the Joint Helicopter Command Unit(JHCU, Royal Marines, RAF).

P.S. We also hold 2 or 3 Real world Combat events each Summer in various locations arround the UK with our Airsoft Team.




Just a litlle background info from our side so you guys know who we are & what we like:-

Our Squad started up in 2001 playing BHD then we moved on into Joint Ops/JOE/JOTR/JOR.

We helped Nova-World in beta testing the JOE, then we moved to help Brutal-Arts in developing the Reality version of Joint Ops Reality who then became Phsyphon-games.

Our Regiment are full of some funny charactes from all over the world(Germany/USA/Canada) We also have lots of Ex-Serving members & some still serving with the UK British Forces. The guys are all proud to serve with the -16AAB- and they carry these -16AAB- Tags with dignity because we believe to work as a team(no matter what circumstances)and also to do so in a professional manner.

The changing process from Joint-Ops Reality to ArmA is at the moment a slow but ongoing process, half of the squad members have the official German version of ArmA some find it difficult with the langauge...lol But like I say we do have some German members who help out.

We will have a dedicated server running up very soon and we hope to commense our training features on the Armed Assault server. We are now just testing all servers at the moment to find out all the bugs etc. But either myself Col Rambo or Maj Bilko will give the GREEN LIGHT to announce when our server is fully functional.
